Three male suspects approached a woman at 4 a.m. near Valencia and 23rd streets and snatched her purse, causing her to fall, police reported. The suspects fled in an older-model gray vehicle. The victim suffered a laceration to the chin and was treated at San Francisco General Hospital.
No arrests were made.

Police reported that a male suspect approached a woman at 3:08 p.m. on Sanchez and 21st streets, pointed a handgun at her and demanded her purse. The victim complied and the suspect fled in an unknown direction. The victim lost her purse, smartphone and some cash.
No arrests were made.
Sunday
Two individuals were shot by a San Francisco police officer just after 2 a.m. Sunday near Valencia and 17th streets. According to police, an altercation began between two groups of people as they were leaving a bar in the area. One person appeared to have a firearm, and a citizen ran to Mission Station to tell police of the situation. The weapon was later determined to be an air-powered firearm, or replica, according to police.
The suspect with the replica pointed it at a group of people and was then shot by a police officer at the scene. Another individual was also struck, and both were transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The incident is under investigation.
Monday
Police reported that a man was walking on 24th Street near Rhode Island at 1:45 a.m. when another man approached and began pushing him. The victim pushed the suspect back, then felt a pain and looked down to see that he had been stabbed in the right side of his chest. The suspect fled on foot.
The victim was transported to a hospital, where his condition was stable.
No arrests were made.
