Saturday

Police reported that at 3:45 a.m. two male suspects approached a man from behind and knocked him to the ground at 15th Street and Julian Avenue. The suspects struggled with the victim on the ground, kicking and punching him, then stood over him and demanded his belongings. The victim surrendered his cell phone, wallet and money. The two suspects fled on foot.

The victim suffered a laceration to the back of the head that was not life-threatening. He was treated at a local hospital. No arrests were made.

Sunday

Police reported that at 2 a.m. two male suspects approach a man from behind at 23rd and Mission Streets and knocked him to the ground. The two suspects went through the victim’s pockets, taking a wallet and money, before fleeing on foot. The victim suffered a laceration to the forehead that was not life-threatening, and refused medical treatment.

No arrests were made.

Monday

Police reported that at 2 a.m. two male suspects approached a man from behind near Vermont and Cesar Chavez streets. One of the suspects reportedly hit the victim on the back of the head with a bat and the second suspect began struggling with the victim for his jacket. The suspect took the jacket and the two fled on foot. The victim suffered pain that was not life-threatening and was treated at a hospital.

No arrests were made.

  1. I guess crime does pay. Or, if you’re going to be dumb enough to wear a jacket at night, expect to get beaten and robbed.
