A male teenager approached a man near 24th and Mission streets at 7:55 p.m. on Saturday and knocked his cell phone out of his hand, causing it to fall to the ground, police reported. Both victim and suspect attempted to pick up the phone, and the suspect threatened to stab the victim. The suspect grabbed the phone and fled on foot.

An arrest has been made in the incident.

A man walking near 23rd and Florida streets at 11:50 p.m. on Saturday was approached by two men, one of whom pushed the victim against a wall, according to police. Both suspects then tackled the victim to the ground and punched him in the face several times. One of the suspects took the victim’s wallet and cell phone from his pocket, then both suspects fled on foot. The victim suffered cuts and bruises to his face. His injuries were not life-threatening, and he was transported to the hospital.

No arrests were made.

At 11:57 p.m. on Saturday, two men approached a man walking near 24th and York streets and began punching him in the face, police reported. The victim fell to the ground and the suspects punched him several more times, then went through his pockets and stole some money before fleeing on foot. The victim refused medical treatment.

At 1:18 a.m. on Sunday, a man was found on the ground near Valencia and 16th streets with a laceration to his head caused by being struck with a bottle, according to police. The injury was not life-threatening. There are no suspects and no arrests were made.

At about 1:15 p.m. on Sunday, officers responded to the area of Maxwell Court and Rosa Parks Lane, between Guerrero and Valencia streets, after bystanders reported hearing gunshots. Two suspects had fired multiple times at a red van, which then fled northbound on Guerrero. Two parked vehicles in the vicinity were hit by bullets.

Bystanders reported that the suspects were two young adult males. No one was reported injured and no arrests were made.
