A man was robbed at knifepoint at 16th and Valencia streets at 4:37 Wednesday afternoon.

Two suspects, described by police as men between the ages of 25 and 30, approached the victim as he was walking out of a hotel. One suspect brandished a knife and demanded that the victim hand over his backpack. The second suspect stood by and watched.

The victim complied and the suspects took his backpack, checkbook, cards and prescription medication before fleeing south on Valencia Street on foot.

A woman was robbed at gunpoint at 21st and Church streets at 9:45 p.m. on Thursday.

Two suspects, described as men in their 20s, approached the woman and brandished a firearm. They demanded her purse, the victim complied, and both suspects fled the area.
