Police reported that a young adult male grabbed a woman’s MP3 player as she was exiting a bus at 24th Street and Potrero Avenue at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday. The victim was walking through a group of people who were trying to get on the bus when the suspect grabbed her hand. She fought back, and the suspect pushed her against a wall, took the device and fled on foot.

No arrests were made.

Thursday

Police reported that a man was stabbed with a knife during a fight between a group of people on Mission Street between 17th and 18th streets around 2:15 a.m. on Thursday. The victim’s injuries were life-threatening and he was transported to a local hospital.

No arrests were made.

Police reported that two males stabbed a man in his abdomen at Folsom and 26th streets at 3:25 a.m. on Thursday. The victim’s injuries were life-threatening and he was transported to a hospital. The suspects fled on foot.

No arrests were made.

It was not known as of Thursday morning whether the two stabbings were related.
