Police reported that at 6 p.m. a teenage man and an elderly woman were walking near 24th and Capp streets when they were approached by two teenage males. One of the suspects repeatedly struck the male victim in the face and mouth while the other suspect struck him in the back of the head. The suspects than took the female victim’s purse and fled eastbound on 24th Street on foot.

The male victim reported a broken tooth and minor injuries. The female victim suffered the loss of a purse with a wallet and cash. No arrests were made.

A man was attacked by three suspects as he stood at the corner of 20th and Mission streets at 7:15 p.m., according to police. The victim suffered several stab wounds to the back that were not life-threatening. He was treated at a hospital. Police reported that the victim refused to provide further details about the incident.
