Art Teachers Art Show at Ruth’s Table

Director of Community Programs at Bethany Center Lola Franknoi opens the exhibit.

A collaborative exhibit of artwork by San Francisco Unified School District art teachers, artists-in-residence and art coordinators opened Thursday evening at Ruth’s Table.

The exhibit comprises the personal works of school district instructors Robert Armstrong, Ingrid Brook-Kothlow, Patricia Copeland, Lotte Dyhrberg, Sid Frischer, Nancy Gittleman, Marissa Kunz, Leslie Laurence, Shannon Lawson, Donna Mankus, Jacqueline Ruben, Terri Scheid, Liz Scotta, Daniel Stingle and Ellen Weinstein. Some of the teachers serve a single school; others bring art to as many as five different campuses. The retrospective of their personal work represents the rich diversity of design we have come to enjoy as part of living in San Francisco.

The show will run through May 23 at Ruth’s Table in the Bethany Center, 580 Capp St.
