Construction at a local residential building has been stopped due to improper documentation of required building permits. The five story building, located on 26th St. is being constructed by the former Building Inspection Commission President Mel Murphy.
An empty oil tanker hit the western tower of the bay bridge yesterday morning. Although the ship was empty and there were no injuries, and investigation will take place to determine whether or not the accident involved human error.
