Lost Weekend Video popped up in an article on the Atlantic Cities website today. Dena Levitz reports that the independent video store’s revenue is down 50 percent since its peak a decade ago.
But unlike some other nearby businesses that are being driven out by rising rents, Lost Weekend is still hanging on. Let’s hope it stays that way. After all, where else in the Mission can you watch Spanish-language horror classics in a Cinecave?
