Weekend Crime Recap: Three Robberies


A resident on Valencia and 16th streets was in his home around 7 p.m. on Friday when he heard noises nearby, which turned out to be coming from inside his apartment. He discovered that a video recorder and cameras were missing.

No arrests have been made.


A man suffered lacerations to the head after he was hit with a soda can during a robbery Friday night on Folsom Street between 14th and 15th streets.

A man in his 20s approached the victim at about 11:30 p.m. and demanded that he give him his cell phone. The victim refused and the two got into a fight. A second suspect got out of a red four-door vehicle and hit the victim in the head with a soda can. The victim fell to the ground, and the suspects took the cell phone and fled the scene.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital. No arrests have been made.


Around 1:45 a.m. on Monday, a man was approached by a suspect at 16th and Mission streets. The man asked him if he wanted company. The victim refused and was approached by three more suspects who attacked him, causing him to fall. The suspects went through the victim’s pockets before running away. The victim suffered lacerations to the head.

No arrests have been made.
