A 22-year-old man was at a restaurant at 16th and Mission streets at 2 a.m. on Monday when a man began asking him questions. When the victim left the restaurant, the suspect followed and attacked him outside, punching his face and head until he lost consciousness. The attacker went through the victim’s pockets and escaped on foot with his phone and cash. The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for facial injuries.
