Interesting story by Chronicle Education Writer Nanette Asimov on SFGate Oct. 21 that attempts to trace the bumpy road to SF City College’s financial woes. Says Asimov, starting in 1990, the district’s former Chancellor, Evan Dobelle, turned the college’s administration over to its instructors: “You just saw the faculty appointed to run the district.”
