Eric Dean Lewis, principal of Montague Elementary School in Santa Clara, was arrested Friday afternoon at a Caltrain station in Santa Clara for suspicion of possession of methamphetamine.

A search of his house near 15th and Guerrero streets uncovered a quarter ounce of methamphetamine, GHB (an illegal substance often used as a date rape drug) and scales.
