Sherri Franklin owns and runs Muttville, a senior dog rescue shelter, from her home.
Since opening Muttville she has rescued more than a thousand dogs who are seven years or older. With the help of volunteers and donations, the shelter has grown exponentially.

Sherri is a saint. These dogs do not stay in cages until adopted. They are running free in her house or a foster home. I adopted one of the dogs from muttville. She is a 10 lb rat terrior/mix. I usually like really big dogs but I had to scale down when my last one died so I adopted a small dog that at least liked to walk a lot. She has turned out to be one of the coolest dogs I have ever had. Her size permits me to take her everywhere. Many of these dogs have had a tough life and are so thankful for love and kindness. They sure give the love back exponentially.
