Grandmothers?! These are well-known pictures of Geronimo, the Apache warrior. Geronimo was the leader of the last American Indian fighting force formally to capitulate to the United States.
Thanks Tessa, that’s totally my bad. I thought the face looked familiar but just couldn’t place it. Shows my ignorance. I just changed the title so as hopefully not to confuse any more people, nor do that history injustice.
