Considering that the park was trashed on Earth Day, once Pride events have come and gone this weekend, Dolores Park is probably going to need a little TLC. If you want to help clean up the park, join Dolores Park Works this Sunday for a big clean-up.

Dolores Park Works is  partnering with Sister Connie of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, John Morris of Dolores Heights Safe, members of Friends of Dolores Park Playground and members of The Dyke MarchCrew to clean up the park Sunday.

To join, meet the group at the Dolores Liberty Bell, at 19th Street and Dolores at 9:30 am. They’ll be giving the grass and sidewalks extra sweeping and raking. They’ll have gloves and tools.  At noon,  you get lunch by Bi-Rite Market, Delfina and Namu Gaji.
