The SF Weekly spoke to the brother of Lorenzo Jimenez, the 24-year-old man who was fatally shot outside the Double Dutch bar last Friday. Jaime Jimenez says he dropped off his brother Lorenzo at the train station last Friday so he could get to work.

Lorenzo Jimenez worked as a bouncer at a strip club in San Francisco. After his shift, he decided to go out with a friend. From the Weekly:

Jaime says Lorenzo and his buddy had been laughing and catching up at the Double Dutch sometime before 11 p.m. June 8; they took photos of themselves, looking happy and carefree, and posted them to Instagram. They only talked to each other and the few people they were with, his brother said.

As he and his friend walked out of the bar on 16th and Guerrero, they noticed a group of men trailing them. One guy asked Lorenzo where he was from. He answered, “I’m not like that — I don’t gang bang.’”
