Three people robbed a 56-year-old woman after she asked them to buy crack for her near 16th and Mission streets, police said.
At around 3 p.m. on Friday, the victim approached two women on Mission Street who agreed to buy crack for her. As the victim was getting her money, the women signaled to a third suspect and pushed the victim to the ground, according to a police report.
One of the suspects took the victim’s money and they fled on foot.
Robbery and Assault
A 44-year-old man was robbed and beaten by three suspects, one of whom had asked him for a dollar, police said.
The victim was walking on Mission Street near 26th at around 6 p.m. on Saturday when three suspects approached him. One grabbed his arm and asked for a dollar. When the victim handed him the dollar, one of the suspects grabbed his wallet and took his money, according to a police report.
The suspects then began beating the victim. He fell to the ground and they left him, fleeing on foot in an unknown direction. The victim’s injuries were not life-threatening.
