A 19-year-old man sustained non-life-threatening injuries during an attempted robbery on Monday night, police said.
The victim was walking near 24th and Folsom streets with a 20-year-old man when seven suspects between the ages of 23 and 25 approached the pair and demanded the victim’s phone and money, according to a police report. One of the suspects punched the victim to the ground. He stood up and held on to his property as he and his companion ran away.
At some point the victim realized that he had a cut near his left ear and went to San Francisco General Hospital for treatment. Police received the call at 10:46 p.m.
this is happening way too often lately. almost every day.
i don’t know if even the tenderloin has this kind of crime this often.
Umm, how is it known that the suspects were between the ages of 23 and 25? There is no attribution. Does that mean there were arrests, or was this just thrown together?
You are right, I should have attributed it the information to the police department, which is where the information came from. Thanks for pointing that out.
