La Grotta Italian Restaurant will open soon at the Mission Market at 22nd and Bartlett streets.
The restaurant, which will replace Hidden Paradise Cafe, looks almost ready on the inside. We were unable to reach the owner, Fabio Bucio, but another business owner at the indoor plaza said the restaurant is set to open on Friday.
Rigoberto Hernandez is a journalism student at San Francisco State University. He has interned at The Oregonian and The Orange County Register, but prefers to report on the Mission District.
