A 27-year-old woman was walking on Osage Alley near the 24th Street BART station at 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday when she heard footsteps behind her, according to a police report.
The suspect, described by police as 20 or 21 years old, pushed the woman into a fence, and then she “felt an object that she thought was a gun pushed into her back,” according to the report.
The suspect demanded money, and after the victim handed over an undisclosed sum, fled on foot. No arrests have been made.
The victim suffered a scrape on her forehead but refused treatment.
Help is available for victims through the city.
