If you’re noticing lines for lottery tickets, it’s because the jackpot is now up to $540 million. The odds that you’ll win are slim, but the big prize is great news for ticket sellers. Referring to one seller, the SF Examiner reports:
As of Thursday, Shamieh said he had sold $11,000 in lottery tickets this week, whereas he normally sells just about $1,000. His front window coaxes people inside with a sign that says they could become the shop’s third big winner.
The renovated playground at Dolores Park opens tomorrow. See you there!
