A 22-year-old woman sustained minor injuries when two men robbed her on Mission Street on Friday night, police said.

Shortly before midnight, the victim was walking on Mission near Cesar Chavez Street when the two suspects approached her and hit her in the face, knocking her down. The suspects took her phone and wallet but were subsequently arrested, police said.

The victim sustained a cut above the eye but refused medical attention.

Muni Attack

In a separate incident, a 29-year-old man sustained non-life-threatening injuries after being jumped by three men on a Muni bus early Saturday morning, police said.

At around 1:16 a.m., police received a call that a man had been robbed and beaten inside a 14-Mission bus. According to police, the victim got into an argument with other passengers as the bus approached Mission and 29th streets. The three suspects jumped the victim and punched him repeatedly, police said. One of the suspects took the victim’s property and ran. No arrests have been made in the case.

The victim was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital with swelling to the head and cuts on his leg.
