A graffiti artist or wheatpaster has added an image of the pepper-spraying cop on 18th Street in the Mission. In case you missed it, Lt. John Pike was the officer who pepper-sprayed a group of seated UC Davis students point-blank in their faces.

Pike’s image quickly became iconic as photoshopped mockups of the incident proliferated across the Internet. The altered images even have their own blog, which includes Pike spraying the founding fathers, Snoopy, Forrest Gump and Abraham Lincoln, to name just a few.
