Happy Friday! November hasn’t felt too much like winter yet, but people are getting into the spirit tonight down at the Embarcadero Winter Carnival, where there’s a free on-ice performance of “Toy Story 3.”

Speaking of Yelp, it might be time to start reviewing the Mission restaurants that opened in the last few weeks. Southpaw opened on Mission near 18th, 530 House is a new Thai place on Valencia, and Izakaya Yuzuki is a Japanese spot hoping to have better luck than Craig’s Place or Ebb & Flow at the corner of 18th and Guerrero.
