Looks like it should be clear skies for the Fleet Week air show from 12:30 to 4 p.m. It seems like people either love it or hate it — what do you think?

If the skies stay clear, tonight is International Observe the Moon Night. Everyone can join the amateur astronomers with their telescopes, celebrating the moon at Lands End from 6 to 10 p.m.

Also, I’ve noticed fruit flies proliferating in my kitchen again. It’s that time of year — I saw the same thing last year and dug up some info on the red-eyed bugs that swarm your sink drains. Check it out.
