Carlos Santana visited his alma mater last week for the first time in decades to jam with students in celebration of their recent academic success. Last year, 84 percent of the 200 seniors graduated and test scores have risen in recent years, according to Principal Eric Guthertz. Santana rocked out with the Mission High guitar club and shared advice on how to be successful.
“The best is not ahead. The best is right now,” Santana said to students. “Enjoy it. Don’t hurt anyone. And live with supreme integrity.”
Way cool. Santana rocks. My dad graduated from Mission High…..in 1936!
