A 22-year-old man was shot near Dolores Park at 2 p.m. on Tuesday while pursuing two men who allegedly robbed him.

Earlier that day, the victim met a girl who picked him up in a vehicle and drove him to an alley near Dolores Park. While they were in the alley, two men approached the parked car and demanded money. The victim complied.

As the suspects ran away, the victim got out of the vehicle and chased them. One of the suspects stopped, pulled out a handgun and fired one shot, striking the victim.

The victim was taken to the hospital and treated for injuries that proved non-life-threatening. He told police that the suspects got away with his money, but the amount was unclear.

There were no arrests, according to police.
