A 15-year-old girl was attacked and robbed in Dolores Park on Friday night, according to police.
At around 11:23 p.m. the victim was approached by two suspects, described as an 18-year-old male and a 20-year-old female. The male suspect told the female suspect to attack the victim from behind. She did so, causing the victim to drop her bag.
The male suspect took the victim’s cell phone from the bag, while the female suspect continued punching her. Police arrived on the scene and subsequently arrested the male suspect. The female suspect fled the scene. The victim suffered minor injuries, including scrapes to her hands and legs and an abrasion to her right hip.
An innocent bystander was struck with a stray bullet early Sunday morning during a shootout involving two suspects on Mariposa and Alabama streets. Officers responded to the scene at around 1:50 a.m. and pursued the suspects on foot; the suspects were subsequently arrested. The motive for the gunfight is under investigation. Details here.
The victim, a 23-year-old man, was transported to San Francisco General Hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
