Street Fixe is hosting a wiches-themed dinner tonight at Heart Wine Bar (1270 Valencia Street). Serving courses from Soul Cocina, Toasty Melts and Kitchenette, the dinner will feature sandwiches from some of the more beloved street food and pop-up food vendors in the city.

Dinner tonight runs $35 for a five course, prix fixe meal, with two seatings at 6:00 and 8:30 p.m. Dinners are by reservation only, and judging from the line that stretched along Valencia during one of the last street food dinners at Heart, you may want to get there early.

Created by the people from SF Food Wars, Street Fixe throws seasonally-drive prix fixe dinners, which are intended to blend the distinction between street food vendors and sit-down restaurants.
