Mother Andrea Snow (L) and Daughter Stella Adelman (R) on stage

En Español

Stella Adelman grew up loving to walk on the stage that her mother, Andrea Snow, a former member of the San Francisco Mime Troupe, had just performed on. After a short stint as a math teacher in New York, Adelman came back to the Mission to turn dancing into her profession. At times, she even worked together with her mother on various productions.

You can catch Adelman this weekend in “Like Oil and Water: From Gaza to the Gulf” at Dance Mission Theater‘s Manifestival for Social Change.

After an idea by Michael Nolan.
