Galería de la Raza hosted an opening reception on Friday night for Galería 4.0, a Retrospective. The Galería was founded during the Chicano rights movement of the 1970s and has emerged as one of the city’s most influential Latino cultural institutions. The exhibition of seminal artwork spans four decades and celebrates the legacy of Chicano/Latino creative activism. Galería 4.0, a Retrospective is free and will be on display through January 29, 2011.
