At around 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, a man came out of a store at Sycamore and Mission with a crutch raised in the air, threatening another man. After a heated exchange, the man who was being threatened stepped back into the alley and was hit by a white vehicle.

The man quickly recovered from the impact, clutching his shoulder as he crossed to the other side of Sycamore Street. The men were still shouting at each other when the one who had held the crutch got into the white vehicle.

The man holding his shoulder then launched an object at the car. One of the men got out of the car and started to react but then quickly got back in the vehicle, which sped away. A police car was right behind.

Nobody at Mission Station was familiar with the incident as of this afternoon.
