School Lunch Threatens National Security

Last year there was a big fight over  school lunch between the SFUSD and the El Tonayense taco truck.  A new study sides with the truck, arguing junk food served in  schools contributes to youth obesity, making  potential soldiers “too fat to fight.”

  1. The study you cite does not “side with the turck”; in fact it does not even mention SFUSD schools, let alone claim that they offer junk foods (they don’t) or that the food sold by the El Tonayense food has less calories than school food (it doesn’t.)
