LA MESA: Alliance for California Traditional Arts Salon
Friday, April 2
Join Alliance for California Traditional Arts (ACTA) for this inaugural FREE peer-to-peer salon featuring a diverse and intimate assembly of traditional musicians, dancers and artists—living treasures and culture bearers who are current or former artists of ACTA’s programs. The evening will highlight several traditional artists—from musicians to craftspeople, masters to emerging artists—who will discuss their work.

La Mesa is part of ACTA’s Traditional Arts Roundtable Series, which serves to strengthen Bay Area intercultural traditional arts networks and leadership. They also offer opportunities for traditional artists and arts advocates to learn from one another through discussion, technical assistance, networking, and sharing community-based arts and culture. Made possible with generous support from the William & Flora Hewlett Foundation and the San Francisco Arts Commission Cultural Equity Grants Program.
