THE BILL IS DUE. ‘Downstream’ is a view of the not so distant future. We follow a young man as he pays the price for society’s decadence.
ABOUT THE PRODUCTION
DOWNSTREAM was created by PHILIP Y. KIM,
An imaginative original story debut from producer Philip Y. Kim is a thoughtful narrative about the end of the world, as we know it. This film was shot in the tradition of Sergio Leone and best characterized as homage to Rod Serling (“The Twilight Zone”) and George Miller (“Mad Max-Road Warrior”).
Shot on location in Sonoma County, Lancaster, and Palmdale, CA, on a ambitious budget, “Downstream” was filmed in 25 days in the spring of 2008 and ranked among the first productions to begin principle photography on the RED ONE camera, only a prototype at the time, next to Fox Studio’s “Jumper” and Soderbergh’s “The Girlfriend Experience.”

If San Franciscans are anywhere near as excited as the crowd was at The Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood Wednesday night, it is also going to be a blast this weekend at The Victoria Theatre! I will be making a nightly appearance as “The Road Warrior” on the inside of the theatre.
See you there! 🙂
Hi. My name is Faith Rosander and I was one of the Costume Designers on this film. This is one not to miss. The script, talent, cinematography, editing…all is incredible! I will be at the Victoria on Friday and I cannot wait to see this film again!
