Word is there was a shooting last night outside Taqueria El Castillito between 16th and 17th on Mission. We’ll keep you posted with any new info we turn up.

The incident happened several hours after an apparently homeless man stabbed an 11-year-old boy who was riding the 49 Muni after baseball practice. That attack happened near 13th Street, and the suspect apparently fled the bus after the attack. Too bad the security camera at the back of the bus was broken.

The Gov’s received more than 100,000 phone calls about the Harvey Milk bill — most of them against. And the mayor announced free swine flu vaccs coming in October.
