Well i think I have finally seen it all, Channel 7 reports an increase in urban bee keeping in the Bay Area and yes that means bees as pets. Who knew there is a beekeeper shop only 4 blocks from the Mission Loc@l office on 20th Street and San Carlos.
On to the hard news with a Mexican Museum Update: We have received confirmation from Supervisor Campos’s office that he will put forth a resolution at next Tuesday’s Board meeting in support of funding the Mexican Museum at the Yerba Buena Gardens site, and also ask for renewal of the lease at Fort Mason. Pat Kilduff, Director of Marketing at Fort Mason told Mission Loc@l in an earlier report that Fort Mason intends to terminate its relationship with the museum in September. Kilduff could not be reached for comment on Campos’s resolution. A Campos staff member confirmed the resolution already has 9 sponsors.

Check back later in the day for more Mission updates – Amanda
