Easter is a time to celebrate Jesus. San Francisco celebrates by finding the hunkiest Jesus lookalike in the city.

Hundreds of people came together in Dolores Park on Sunday to crown their new cutie during the Hunky Jesus Competition, held by the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, an international gay charity group founded in San Francisco in 1979. That Easter weekend, three men wearing nun’s habits launched the Sisters with a march through San Francisco. Since then, the Sisters have founded orders in more than a dozen states and in Australia, Latin America and Europe. The Sisters fund projects promoting wellness, identity, tolerance and diversity for the gay, bisexual, lesbian, and transgender communities.

Amen.
