OK guys, party’s over. No, really. According to a Chronicle report, the city may soon start to limit the number of “flash mob” (think, Valentine’s Day pillowfight) events in the city. First, Bay to Breakers, now this? Oh and in case bars think they’re off the hook for the drunken antics of their patrons, they better think again, according to a new plan to decrease trouble after closing time.

There is some good news for bars though. People are drinking their economic woes away, according to an article in the SF Examiner (via SFist). Mission Loc@l explored this question last year, and considered whether people may have increased their alcohol budget by cutting back on tips.

What? You awoke from your post-layoff binge to realize that you’re broke and jobless? SFist wants to help you sign up for food stamps. Seriously though, we know the labyrinthine San Francisco bureaucracy can be tough to navigate sometimes, and we welcome the discussion.

Today, Mission Mission noted that the proposed American Apparel space is still up for rent. You may have noticed many other vacancies along our dear Valencia Street, check Mission Loc@l soon for the full story on Valencia’s vacancies.
