A San Francisco man has arrested in connection with a fatal stabbing last night near Wiesel and 15th streets, police said.

William Randleston, 58, is facing homicide charges for allegedly fatally stabbing a 56-year-old man in the chest. A witness told police that two suspects were having a verbal argument with the victim before fleeing at around 7:30 p.m. The victim, who has not been identified pending family notification, was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, where he died from his wounds.

Police arrested Randleston thanks to witnesses in the area who provided descriptions of the suspect. Investigators are asking anyone with information to call 415-575-4444 or text a tip to TIP411 with SFPD at the start of the message.
