New Interactive Maps Show No-Fault Evictions and Ellis Act Evictions

The people who brought you the Ellis Act displacement map are at it again — this time they’re showing the number of no-fault evictions and the number of Ellis Act evictions committed against seniors and disabled tenants in two new maps.

The maps, done by The Anti-Eviction Mapping Project (AMP), an online digital storytelling and mapping collective being housed by the San Francisco Tenants Union, show a frightening timelapse of evictions starting in 1997 and ending mid-October 2013.
