Police said that an 18-year-old man walked into San Francisco General Hospital at around 8:40 p.m. on Thursday with a gunshot wound in his leg.
He told police that it happened somewhere on Mission Street, but would not offer specifics or cooperate with police.
The victim’s injuries were not life-threatening. There was no connection between the shooting and the earlier stabbing on Oakwood near 18th Street, according to SFPD spokesman Officer Albie Esparza.
