What the heck is going on and what are the police doing?? I grew up in this neighborhood . My grandparents lived here since the 1950′s and I am tired of the apathy regarding violence that I see from our city government. The attitude seems to be ” well that’s the mission”.

That is indeed the attitude – try talking to one of the Mission supervisors about why they let the 16th and Mission BART plaza be the urine infested, crime riddles, open air drug market it is – they won’t even admit there’s a problem there and that nobody is doing a thing about it.
