So whose fault is it that housing is so unaffordable in San Francisco? Well, contrary to Internet memes, writes Joe Eskenazi, it’s not really old, greedy NIMBY homeowners; nor is it simply city red tape and/or corruption—nor will the problem be solved by “just building more.” Read the whole exasperating, complicated story.

But hey, there’s some great sports news: for the second time in three seasons, the “Burrito Boys” of El Farolito won the National Premier Soccer League title. Liliana Michelena‘s got the story of the San Francisco team that could.
