Okay, it’s down to the wire: San Francisco supervisors will negotiate late into the evening tonight making tweaks to the mayor’s budget, and trying to claw back the tiny percentage of city dollars they control. Kelly Waldon and Io Yeh Gilman explain what’s at stake for city services, city-funded nonprofits, and the departments.

Over in the Mission, Rosina Boehm talks with artists about what the loss of the oddball, boundary-crossing Make Out Room means to them, and Oscar Palma has the latest Mission Buzz, with an update on the controversial bollards intended to stop alleged sex traffic on Shotwell Street.
