In the Bayview, the San Francisco planning commission unanimously approved a hotly debated proposal for AutoZone to take over a now-closed Walgreens, after the Bayview-Hunters Point Citizens Advisory Committee unanimously opposed it. Marina Newman explains why residents are upset.

After two years of renovation, SoMa’s only indoor recreation space is slated to open. Aaliyah Español-Rivas talks with neighborhood youth about the impact.

Nicholas David reports that Chino Yang, the social media personality, is closing his Richmond restuarant after alleging that another local business owner choked him. The Georgian Cheese Boat will take over Yang’s space.

And Adriana Gutierrez has the Tenderloin Buzz, with updates on the Larkin Street Revival Project.
