Four employees at the Department of Police Accountability have sent letters to the Police Commission and police chief declaring a lack of confidence in director Paul Henderson. They allege a “deeply toxic” workplace, poor management, and retaliation when workers filed complaints.
Okay, the $145 million sale of Philz Coffee to private equity company Freeman Spogli & Co. has gone through. Yes, there will be “thank you bonuses” for current workers, but former employees will lose all the value of the Philz common stock they invested in years ago.
