Today from Mission Local

Good afternoon!

Hey, you should definitely go see ‘Moving San Francisco, an exhibit of photographs from the Muni archives. It’s at City Hall, with some fabulous never-before-seen historical images. Check it out.

The Tradiciรณn Peruana Cultural Center, the longest-running Peruvian cultural center in the country, has lost its home in the Mission after the rent became out of reach. The center will offer roving programming until it finds a new space it can afford.

S.F. high school students joined a rally yesterday opposing ICE raids and marking President Trump’s first year in office. We’ve got photos of the event, and some comments from those planning another protest on Friday.

More soon,

Sara
