Good afternoon!
Open Gov, a firm with ties to Mayor Daniel Lurie‘s former nonprofit, got $5.9 million last year from Lurie’s office to overhaul the city’s archaic permitting system. Now, reports Brandon Pho, Lurie wants $33 million more to extend the Open Gov contractโthough it’s has missed several key deadlines and still has limited functionality.

As rents and evictions rise, D10 Supervisor Jackie Fielder is proposing to set a minimum amount of unpaid rent that will justify an eviction, writes Yujie Zhou. Five other supes and the mayor are supporting her legislation.
And sad news: four murals in Clarion Alley were painted over last week. Oscar Palma reports.
